Johnny Britt is a multi-talented artist whose career spans performance, songwriting, music direction and production. A Cleveland native, Britt studied at the Conservatoire de Versailles in Paris and is fluent in French. He went on to become the youngest-ever musical director for the legendary Temptations and later co-produced the Emmy Award-winning Temptations miniseries.

As founder of the group Impromp2 (Motown Records), Britt released four albums before launching a successful solo career with eight studio albums to date, including “Midnight in Paris,” his latest offering. He has written #1 hits for Boney James and earned two Indie Soul Awards for his duet “Butterflies” with Will Downing and “Ocean Waves” with Blair Bryant.

His trumpet performances can be heard in the films “Hidden Figures” and “La La Land,” where he also appeared on screen. In 2023, Britt received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the White House.
